I used to direct fly from Maputo by Cessna and spend my vacations at Santa Carolina many times and do UW photo and diving with friends from SA and Rhod. Superb until 1977. Now we have a complete degradation of the hotel and bungalows but Nature and the sea are always great as it was in the past. It is a pity. The small planes air field needs great repair. In my externals HD´s I keep the pics of that time in Santa Carolina underwater world. I could more recently dive and make uw shots in the outstanding Red Sea, Giftun island. Red Sea transparency and the rich life is another world and becomes easier to dive and photograph.

Spent a week on the island with my parents and brothers sometime around 1967/68, a memorable trip, by boat from Vilanculos... that seemed to take ages, dolphins accompanying us as we tugged along. Your footage and editing is of a very high standard, the colours and the flow of movement wondrous, as the island itself... even abandoned it retains its beauty and mystery. Parabéns!

Landed here in 1998. Spent 10 days living in paradise! Was blown away by the natural beauty & the buildings. Probably the best beachs i have experienced in the Indian Ocean. For once i am really happy to see the degradation as nature claims back whats hers. Means things stay pristine for a little longer before humans trash it.
