For a thorough analysis of the "Meeting of the Compromised" dealt with in this documentary, see Dr. Igreja's article in the Journal of Southern African Studies, 36(4): 781-799. Far from being a reconciliatory meeting (as implied by the documentary), it was a gathering where the so-called "compromised" were intimidated and threatened.

Couldn't it have been wonderful if FRELIMO really believed that everyone could change for FRELIMO to forgive Uria Simango and his wife and Joanna Simao, Ribeiro and many others who were summarily executed without the benefit of a proper trial?
