Cyclone Freddy Strengthens Over the Indian Ocean

This photo shows the size of Cyclone Freddy as it strengthened while en route to Mauritius and other African island nations in the Indian Ocean over the weekend.

The storm, which is the equivalent of a Category 4 hurricane in the northern hemisphere, was expected to make landfall in Madagascar by Tuesday evening.
