Cleveland area weather forecast: Mother's Day looking dry
Descrição
Your 6 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 12, 2023: What a beautiful, summer-like day it's been across NE Ohio! Nearly everyone has enjoyed temperatures near 80 degrees...except folks hanging lakeside.
This evening, temperatures will drop back around 60 degrees while cloud cover is heavy overhead with a few spotty showers here and there.
Rain chances look relatively light for most. Some of you may escape the next 24 hours rain free. This means chances really only linger into Saturday and don't last for forever. Even better for plans for Mother's Day weekend...temperatures will be cooler Sunday than Saturday. Tomorrow, we'll still be close to 70 degrees while Sunday highs will be back in the mid-60s. Sunday's forecast includes sun and clouds, so you can get out easy peasy with mom to celebrate her! There's a brief shower chance through the second half of the day...but overall Mother's Day will be far from a soaking rain kind of day.
Longer range...maybe you're running in the Cleveland Marathon next weekend? Maybe planning to spectate and support someone else?? Anyways, long range computer models are hinting at things being cooler than normal. Highs may only be in the 50s which could lead to some chilly overnights. We'll keep you posted on the potential for frost once we're in closer proximity.
