Two African Pythons at Jessica the Hippo?!
Descrição
This week on Snakes in the Hoed, Tim and Pep get called to the property of the world-famous Jessica the Hippo... but we didn't come there to see Jessica.
The owner had two Southern African Pythons on his property, and with his Jack Russells around, he wanted them safely removed.
The first python was relatively straightforward… although it did manage to give Tim a bite along the way.
The second python was a very different story. It had worked its way deep inside an old pipe. The snake could still move, but getting it back out was another matter. In the end, we had no choice but to break the pipe apart, piece by piece, to get the python out.
And once the snakes were safely rescued, we finally got the chance to meet the famous Jessica.

Big mama and a teenager python! I was sorry for the mama python, being stuck in that pipe. And of course sorry that Tim was bitten by the teen python. A good catch and good release. Love the banter between Tim and and Pep. Thank you for including the hippo coming to get a snack. What an amazing life to live in the bush - so close to nature.
