🌍 Graça Machel married Mozambique's founding president Samora Machel. Until his plane was lured down near the South African border in 1986 (sabotage alleged, decoy-beacon testimony given, but no one was ever charged). Years later, the most famous man on Earth, Nelson Mandela, pursued her. She kept refusing. Then, on his 80th birthday, she said yes.
