SPAIN FLASH FLOOD DISASTER Hundreds Evacuated as Coastal Towns Drown

Terrifying footage is emerging from northeastern and eastern Spain, where a violent, slow-moving autumn storm system has triggered catastrophic flash flooding across Catalonia, the Valencia region, and Castilla-La Mancha.

In the coastal port town of Roda de Berà, heavy hydraulic pressure caused a massive seafront perimeter wall to collapse onto bystanders, leaving several severely injured and two women hospitalized in critical condition. Emergency services confirm at least 11 people have been injured region-wide, while hundreds of holidaymakers and nightclub patrons were evacuated from swamped campgrounds and municipal venues. Across Valencia, schools were shut down for nearly half a million students as authorities enacted red alerts ahead of hyper-concentrated rainfall rates exceeding 8 to 12 inches.
