Severe Weather Update: tropical lows bring heavy rain, strong winds to northern Western Australia, 10 December 2020. Video current at at 12.30 pm AWST Thursday 10 December 2020.

The first of two tropical lows crossed the coast south of Broome yesterday morning, bringing widespread rain. A second tropical low, currently located around 900 km to the northwest of Karratha, is quickly moving south and is likely to cross the Pilbara coast on Friday, with heavy rain and damaging winds into the weekend.
