Professional Ship Simulator | Bulk Carrier Dunkirk to Dover Channel Big Ships Don’t Stop Quickly

13/09/2026 · Gamiwombat

Descrição

Take the helm of the Bulk Carrier as we push through the Strait of Dover, running a full Dunkirk → Dover cargo transport task in Professional Ship Simulator. This run shows off the ship’s massive scale, realistic handling, and the game’s deep maritime physics — from wave impact to wind drift and tight harbor maneuvering and the Wombats to fast Approach to Dover. Big ships Don't stop on a Dime.

In this video, we tackle the Bulk Carrier task using true‑to‑life navigation tools, radar, AIS, and environmental awareness. Every swell, every current, and every decision matters. With the simulator’s dynamic weather, living sea traffic, and authentic port layouts, this Channel crossing becomes a full professional operation.

Whether you’re into realistic ship simulation, heavy cargo operations, or exploring the new Strait of Dover environment, this showcase highlights why Professional Ship Simulator is shaping up to be one of the most detailed maritime sims ever built.

Technically it looks great. But it lacks the chaos) The Egyptian traders trying to board the ship on the run in the channel. Indian workers shoveling the cargo in the hold by hand. The crew cleaning the deck after the loading. And of course the noise of the port at night.. oh i miss those days so much. Oh and captain drinking with surveyors mini game is needed 100%

Would be great if PSS dev team adopts Navismaster sea behaviour, that would be a great improvement.

Yeah parking wasn't that bad =P I have still yet to give one of these big tin cans a go yet, may wait for Early Access purely to not have the timer to worry about.

Great video, can you do career jobs where it tells you how much to load? Or do you just load random amounts?

Is the time in this Sim Real-Time and is the scale a true representation in 1.1 scale?
