On May 2nd, 2024, I was chasing an intense tornado near Hawley, Texas when I noticed a house that was hit by the tornado. As I pull up, an injured family of four emerges from the rubble. Without hesitating, I tell them to get into my car before rushing them to the hospital.

I should've mentioned this in the video, but they found Scout. Unfortunately, she was hurt pretty bad and she's had to undergo multiple surgeries. I believe she still needs another one, but the good news is she's alive.

The way the child in the back said "I just, I don't feel so good" absolutely broke my heart. I'm so glad everyone is ok.

This is genuinely one of the most terrifying and incredible things I’ve seen on YouTube. The fact they survived is amazing.

Thanks Freddy for saving my niece & her family. Without you being there, they had a very long walk to get to a busy highway. As you reported, they're doing well & have rebuilt their house. God Bless! Take care and keep chasing those storms.

Can you imagine being so far out from a road, knowing you have to carry/run with your hurt children and then seeing a car right there to give you a ride out of there? That must have been such a relief!

I never realized how important storm chasers can be, practically an emergency service at this point.

Dude you saved them if you were two minutes later they would not be with us. You are a real angel.

According to the gofund me, the mother was hit in the head and torso with a water heater, and the father had an injured knee/wrist. They ignored all of that to get their kids to safety. Incredible handling of the situation all around.
