Zimbabwe's white farmers start anew in Mozambique

Land is only part of the equation... You can seize all the land you want but you can't seize business connections and end markets willing to buy products, nor the technologies required to keep the business going and expanding, nor the practical know-how gained through years or decades in the trade. The primary purpose of economic activity is not the promotion of justice or equality; economy is about what works and what brings profit. Justice and equality can be addressed to some extent through taxation of the profit generated by these businesses but not by seizing and "redistributing" the businesses themselves willy-nilly to people who have no clue what to do with them or how to manage them...

This is a very smart move by the Mozambique government! Bring in successful and experienced farmers regardless of skincolour and let them cultivate the land. Then see what happens. Don't forget to take some before-and-after-photos! You won't regret it!😊

More than 2000 farmers murdered in South Africa since 1994-and the world is quiet.
