Hundreds Dead as Cyclone Freddy Hits Malawi, Mozambique

The Tropical Cyclone Freddy has ravaged southern Africa, killing at least 200 people in Malawi and Mozambique, reports AP News.

Rescue workers estimate that the death toll will rise further when destroyed residential areas have been searched.

Freddy is set to be the longest-ever recorded tropical cyclone after it first developed near Australia in early February.
