I understand that the NHC has much more advanced tracking methods than eyeballing it… but to my eye, it’s already heading NNE. In fact, it looked like it began its eastern lean over Cuba. My guess is that it’s gonna make landfall on the southern end of the projection (much nearer Venice than Tampa Bay).
Edit - I typed all that before you discussed your eyesight. My eyes agree with yours.
