Cyclone Cilida still headed for Mauritius - 5pm MUT Dec 21, 2018

After stalling earlier today, Cyclone Cilida is still moving in a south-southwesterly direction, and is still intensifying. The storm is now a Very Intense Tropical Cyclone on the local scale, Category 4 on the Saffir Simpson Scale. The storm is expected to swipe Mauritius on Saturday night or Sunday, with tropical storm conditions likely across the whole island.
