Beria, Mozambique Waterfront

Beira, Mozambique — a morning along the waterfront. This video traces the city's coastline and historic landmarks, starting at the Macuti Lighthouse, the striped 1904 tower on Macuti Beach still watched over by the rusted remains of a beached shipwreck.

From there we follow the water to Clube Náutico, the seaside club on Avenida das FPLM known for its ocean views and long-standing ties to Beira's maritime life, and catch the fishing boats heading out at first light — a daily rhythm that's defined this coast for generations.

Inland, Praça da Independência offers a quieter look at the city's public life, before we end at MiHOTEL Monte Village, a garden hotel just off the water known for its relaxed terrace and easy access to the beach.
