Rip Dave Schwartz 1953 – 2016 he was the real deal he was literally shaking it for decades and there was still sauce coming out
He kinda had that JFK JR hair going on…
Right around this time 30 years ago, with a similar heat wave in progress now. But no epic Midwest floods.
Miss the early days of The Weather Channel. Now Weather Nation is doing what The Weather Channel use to be. Weather 24/7. No reality TV shows like "Desperate Meteorologists". LOL!
Gone but not forgotten. Legend!
Quite an eventful summer that year. Unseasonably cool temperatures in the northwestern U.S., excessive heat in the south central and southeastern states, and epic flooding in the Midwest on the Mississippi River. A blocking Bemuda High, and deeper than normal trough in the northwest contunued to steer the low pressure systems through the Midwest, resulting in the epic and historic flooding.
When TWC was all weather, all the time, and nothing else.
This is excellent. : )
Wholesome, just what the weather doctor ordered.
Where's the narration on the local forecast?

Dave's not dead serious about it
When weather was just weather, not a political football. Millennials could learn great life lessons right here on Youtube.
