21/10/2026 - Two Bands of Rain - Morning Weather Forecast UK - Met Office Weather

Two bands of rain pushing north and northeast throughout the day. Temperatures in the high single figures this morning. Showers across the northern isles and outbreaks of rain for central and eastern Scotland. Band of rain moving in overnight and pushing eastwards,. Strong winds and heavier pulses of rain along Irish coasts and Channel coasts. Could see some drier interludes across eastern England but more rain drifting in after, clearing northern Ireland through the afternoon with showers to follow. The rain could get heavier in the afternoon and evening.
