The June 2026 Flood Forecast Has Shifted For The U.S. — And Not In A Way Anyone Expected

01/11/2026 · The Watchroom

Descrição

Yesterday morning, five regional offices of the National Weather Service and the national Weather Prediction Center named the same atmospheric configuration: a slow-moving omega block locked across the entire lower forty-eight, forecast to hold through the opening four days of meteorological summer. Both ocean basins are feeding moisture into the same continental airspace. The first flood pulse opens Sunday over the northern Rockies. The Southeast pulse follows next week on ground that is already saturated. This is what just shifted in the June 2026 outlook — and what to watch for through the next ten days.

The Watchroom covers planetary hazards across every domain — earthquakes, severe weather, solar storms, volcanoes, asteroids, comets, and the science behind events that affect Earth in real time. Each video delivers focused twenty-to-twenty-five-minute coverage of the day's biggest story — the data, the context, the outlook.

New videos three to four times a week.

So far, this channel has predicted the weather outcome in the greater areas of north east Kansas and north west Missouri. Consider a square from the center of Kansas City, Missouri; 50 miles north, 50 miles south, 50 miles east and 50 miles west. As the Missouri River runs between the two states and the many tributaries contributed, we are already watching flood risks and it's May 31st 2026. Farmers are in a holding pattern due to saturation. Their heavy machinery can't move through the land to seed. The States & Citys highway departments can't keep up with road repairs. Contracts for new bridges and byways are now effected because when it rains and the ground is saturated, often their machines can't move, and the men and women workers are sent home. These events started mid May and the outlook doesn't seem to be letting up. When I look up at the sky I can see the swirling clouds. They're exactly like those descriptions in this video. The last 3 days we've been under heavy slow moving cloud cover. I've seen some negative comments that were undeserved. Apparently they prefer their local network updates. However, this channel provides vastly far and above what just tomorrow is going to happen. 🎉❤
