I continue my etrike ride to Chipinge, for my first day in Zimbabwe, in Africa.
After a huge rainshower, the road is extremely muddy and it is just destroyed. Because of that, I progress very slowly. I meet my first few Zimbabweans, all very friendly. They still seem to like photos, but they are not at all as aggressive as Mozambicans when it comes to selfies. A car on its way to Mount Selinda stops to give me some food, and it's very welcome, I didn't realize it, but I was actually starving. After a very long day on the road, I finally arrive in Chipinge, a town hidden in the mountains, where I will be able to rest a bit in a guest house with a flirty receptionist.

That was a miracle Mum you met. She was God sent and God is going to bless her. You were hungry, you had nothing to eat, out far from a shop and God sent you a meal; to make your day it was French Polony. an old Mum could never ever it so right for a French mother's child in Africa. I love the Zimbabweans they won't let you leave their homes till you have eaten.

The fact that Yves does cycling for he's living, is just amazing. And when he complains, it's for a reason. Now he is barely cycling on a slid of asphalt, and you can see him taking pictures of flowers and the nature. Then he get's lucky to receive bologna and bread out of nowhere. The calories he didn't have, but what he badly needed. He is really blessed some days when he has nothing to go on, except the fuel on he's legs and spare battery he might have. Still he has strength to be nice to people ! Surviving everyday is a way of life eventually for this man.

In Zimbabwe everyone is a police ,u won't get robbed in public ,it's a safe country w lovely pple ..they give u a smile always
