Ten Day Forecast: Cold And Snow Latest Developments...

Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the fifteenth of March - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks)

High pressure is now retrogressing to Greenland and develop into the full Greenland blocking feature by Monday. This will allow much colder air to plunge southwards from the north pole so the weather will turn cold and wintry through the early part of next week. Looking ahead to the second half of next week low pressure will try and move into that cold air from the Atlantic so the battle lines are drawn with a risk of heavy rain and significant snow in places. Where the divide is will determine who gets rain and show gets snow and as ever the devil will be in the detail... This video brings you up to date with all the latest cold and snow developments...
