Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the eighteenth of December and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) - We'll have a look at CFS v2 for the next four weeks to the New Year at the end of the video.

Mid-December looks set to find high pressure building up from the south turning the weather very mild and drier but could the high pressure go north with the weather bringing colder weather for Christmas???

Longer term, all eyes remain focused on Scandinavia... Christmas weather is up for grabs right now...

Terrible terrible model output tonight. All that epic record cold that Scandinavia has been collecting the last few weeks, gone in a matter of days and 2015 style mildness from the Azores for us..disgusting really, I have no other words for it.

Still looking interesting here in Western Romania for this weekend. A Mediterranean Cyclone will link up with the Siberian High. Light blizzard conditions are possible, especially on Sunday morning if the temperature is low enough. Pressure builds quickly early next week, which could give us some very cold nights.

ECM with a big cluster colder temps (inversion?) That's the best to get from the mild period ahead, all cards on the table for what Comes next afterwards😍

Thanks for the ten day forecast. I enjoyed the video and it's contents with the GFS and the ECM ensembles including the CFS v2 model. Yes it's all up for grabs, it could go either way.

It looks a more seasonal Xmas than a mild windy one. Can still remember 1990, 13-15°, blustery, odd spot of rain in the air, nothing christmassy about that
