In 1794, the São José Paquete d’Africa carried 512 enslaved Africans from Mozambique toward Brazil. The ship never made it.
On December 27, 1794, it struck submerged rocks near the coast of Cape Town and broke apart.
212 Africans died.
Those who survived were sold into slavery again.
For more than 200 years, the wreck remained hidden underwater. Its eventual identification in the 2010s connected archaeological evidence—including shackles and ship remains—with historical records documenting the voyage.
In 2015, researchers publicly identified the wreck as the São José Paquete d’Africa, helping recover a forgotten chapter of the Atlantic slave trade.
The story is a reminder that archaeology can sometimes recover histories that written records failed to preserve.

If only the adversely affected people African themselves understand this evils perpetrated against them, treated them not as human beings but as ordinary articles of business, they will be careful on how they will relate with the satanically wicked humans called the whites. But still today it is the same victims enslaving themselves to the same whites both politically, economically, religiously, culturally, militarily and otherwise. All African moneys and resources have been stolen and laundered to US, UK, France, Dubai, and other foreign Lands living their helpless civilians in abject poverty while their aider are in affluence of riches.

First time.. I'm not surprised that the Universe decided that they would not be slaves.... I believe everyone was supposed to drown that day as a testament how long this whole process was... beautiful black Africans were strong around the world for obvious strength and fortitude because others so how great they were and how much they lacked. Africans have done so much on this planet to help people who are beige have wealth and dignity where they couldn't find it on their own. Thank God for research
