Samora Machel: The Lion of Mozambique | The Mystery, The Legacy, The Martyr
Descrição
From the dusty plains of Mozambique to the highest ranks of African liberation, Samora Moisés Machel stood as a fearless soldier, revolutionary, and the first President of independent Mozambique. This powerful documentary unravels his journey from his early days as a nurse turned freedom fighter, to leading the FRELIMO movement that broke the chains of Portuguese colonial rule.
But his story didn’t end in triumph alone. On October 19, 1986, tragedy struck when Machel’s Soviet-crewed aircraft mysteriously crashed near Mbuzini, South Africa. Was it an accident, sabotage, or a politically motivated plot? This documentary dives deep into the controversies, investigations, and truths that still echo across southern Africa today.
Through rare footage, eyewitness accounts, and historical archives, we revisit the life and legacy of the man who lived and died for Africa’s freedom.
Don’t just watch history feel it.
