As a Mozambican, it is deeply concerning to witness the stark contradictions in our development. Despite significant resource exploration, the regions providing these riches remains some of the most impoverished in an already struggling nation. It is difficult to reconcile the lack of schools, hospitals, and basic services with the immense value being extracted. In other global contexts, such resource-rich localities are transformed into economic hubs; here, they remain neglected. In few words, Mozambique (socially) it's Gaining nothing at all. And i'm not even talking about enviromental problems... SAD

Mozambique has currently the Balama mine and ruby mine - that isn’t Chinese investment… roads and bridges to allow inter trading is what is necessary.

Interesting question is: where do all the money go? Coz People don’t see any significant change from these loans and investments. Even the tiniest basic needs like health, education, roads can’t be seen provided to the people. So the question remains “where do all the money goes to?”

All powerful countries are benefiting from mozambican mineral resources nothing is for the people or countries infrastuturas, instead people are getting killed every days... we are still slaves and we have no say, we are considered the poorest countries in the world with all the minenal resources!! Extremely sad..
