MOMENT: US Delegation Walks Out during Iran’s Pezeshkian Addresses UNGA 2026 | AC1Z

The U.S. delegation walked out of the UN General Assembly hall as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered his address on September 23, 2026. Reuters reported that the walkout occurred at the start of Pezeshkian’s speech.

Pezeshkian used the address to strongly criticize the United States and Israel, display photographs of Iranian children and other victims, defend Iran’s military position, discuss the country’s nuclear program, and call for diplomacy without what he described as the use of force.
