How Madagascar was Colonized Even After Independence
Descrição
Can a nation truly be free if its systems still serve the interests of its former colonizer?
For many African countries, independence marked the end of foreign rule, but not always the end of foreign influence. Madagascar's story challenges us to look beyond flags and constitutions and ask a deeper question: What does real independence actually look like?
Political freedom is one thing. Economic control, institutional autonomy, and the power to shape your own future are another.

Like most black people we had no knowledge of the brutality of France, this was intentional by the colonizer that this history was hidden AND buried the imperialist told the world they found savages living in most of the country they colonized, but since knowledge has been increased and the social media we are learning about some of the atrocities done by the imperialist who were the true savages Please keep telling our stories it will help some of us decolonize our minds.

What is sad, you attend a university in the U.S. and never actually hear about the relationship of oppression, murder, and genocide perpetrated upon countries in Africa by predators in the West.
