Armed gunmen, believed to be rebels from the Renamo opposition movement, staged another attack in Mozambique on Saturday October 26.

The assault targeted a civilian convoy in central Mozambique.

One person is reported to have died and at least ten are wounded.

Earlier this week, Renamo abandoned the 1992 peace accord, which had helped it to enter representative politics - causing many to believe the group is behind the attack.
