Extreme weather in Morocco!! Massive, mud-laden floods swept away vehicles in Al Hoceima.

Flash floods and major flooding struck Al Hoceima province on October 6 and 7, 2026, triggered by severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
The storms caused significant material damage and major disruptions.

The towns of Beni Bouayach and Imzouren were among the hardest-hit areas; floodwaters paralyzed traffic on several roads, muddy torrents inundated residential neighborhoods, and vehicles parked along the roadside were swept away.
