🇲🇿 Cyclone Idai: Rescue efforts on, 15,000 stranded in Mozambique l Al Jazeera English

27/09/2026 · Al Jazeera English

Descrição

The United Nations has described the floods in Southern Africa as "hugely complex" and has said it would require an "even more complex response".
Devastation can be seen everywhere. Strong winds and heavy rains have destroyed houses and crops. About 15,000 people, many of them ill, are still stranded more than a week after cyclone Idai struck.
Al Jazeera's Malcolm Webb reports from one of the worst-hit areas - the Sussundenga district in western Mozambique - close to the border with Zimbabwe.

Just as a reminder our country gone past one of the biggest state fraud so far in which former president(Armando Guebuza, former minister of economy(Manuel Chang, now facing extraction) were the heads of this heist of state money laundering leaving us with almost $12b of public debt, one of em using a fishing company with four hi-tec boats we can't afford and there's only three SOUTH AFRICAN helicopters helping people in Beira .
