Cleveland weather forecast: Long-awaited rain comes tomorrow

3News' Payton Domschke says things are clear for Saturday, but the Cleveland weather forecast shows some much-needed rain coming on Sunday afternoon.

We're in for our first rain chance this weekend in Cleveland! High temperatures today will be close to 80 degrees...truthfully tomorrow will too. The big difference between today and tomorrow is where our chance of rain exists.

Today, we start sunnier than how we'll end. There won't be anything to worry about weather wise for your Saturday plans, but you will notice more clouds through the afternoon and evening.

Sunday will also start on the dry side. Rain chances build throughout the day; however, they won't amount to anything much. A rain chance is a rain chance at this point as we've gone weeks without it.

We keep a chance in the mix almost each and every single day this week. Temperatures will also fall behind a front come Monday and Tuesday. The lakeshore temperatures will likely hold in the mid to upper-60s early this week.
