In Nigeria, some more terribly huge snakes like anaconda are in Ondo state, in my school, I can remember in the year 1994, beside a very big river a group of us junior secondary school students saw a very big giant snake in Ondo town in Ondo state of Nigeria. The size and the length of what we saw live looked like a very tall and very big Palm tree🌴...I can never forget in my life. As soon as it saw us, it enter into the river and routed it with a loud noise. Not once or twice that we had been seen something like that around the school forest or we can call that territory wilderness, because am not sure if human beings have lived in the bush since the beginning of this world. There are big huge tree around in the forest am talking about. Yes it happened in Ondo state Nigeria!

Riau Islands. Fished there years ago and we took breaks on the island. The locals had warned us about poisonous snakes to avoid and their so called giant logsnakes, but we foolishly ignored their seasoned advice. Then it happened. Encountered a 35’ monster. We were resting near the edge of a forest. I was looking around then noticed what I thought was a huge log and to my shock it started to move. I said to my friend Emilio “what is that?” He yelled “ we have to go now! Everyone in the boat” the logsnake slithered away into the forest. We stayed in our boats and never went back on land.

In Nigeria and Gabon, there're much bigger river and forest monsters than this one. Africa still has virgin forests where beasts have spent thousands of years and are still alive.
