For my last full day riding in Mozambique, I go from Dombe to Dacata, up the first slopes of the Shimanimani mountains, in Southern Africa.
That's a very remote part of Mozambique, and I ride through a lot of very small and isolated villages on the way. Some of the kids get terrfied when they see me, as I might be the first non black person they ever saw in real life. Again, it is very hot, and I have to take another quick shower on the way, to cool down my body. The arrival in Dacata is totally unreal as people gather around me and scream and film me while I clib a steep slope. What an insane goodbye I am getting from Mozambique, though I won't miss the selfie frenzy I had to handle across the entire country.

Some kids are told: there are ghosts at night, they are white with no legs, live underground and they come up at night ... so go to sleep now. Kid saw white man, low down near ground with "no legs'. He was terrified.
