Tropical Storm Chalane is currently strengthening in the Mozambique channel and is expected to become a significant Cyclone before striking Mozambique. It is currently expected to make landfall with winds of 90mph and could produce rainfall over 200mm in localized areas. It is rated a Stage 3 on the CDPS although it should be noted that if the storm becomes significantly stronger than forecast, which is possible, then this rating is subject to go up.

i think this storm as the potential to go as far as cat 3 cyclone just because it has 29-30 degrees celsius water under it rn and it has decent convection and mostly because this is a small system , we know how quickly they can intensify

According to Moderate Tropical Storm Chalane,Chalane will make Landfall in the South i think- Africa As an Severe Tropical Storm With 110 KPH winds And Will Die cuz yes And will die as an Low preassure area as everyone knows as 85 Winds Kph
