28/09/2026 - Fine afternoon for most - Afternoon Weather Forecast UK - Met Office Weather

This afternoon there will be some blustery showers in the north of Scotland while a front brings wet weather mainly to the English channel but also to the far southeast of England, particularly Kent, where there may be some heavy bursts at times. Elsewhere, it will be a fine afternoon with sunny skies in the north and west, cloudier in the south and east. Temperatures will generally be slightly above average; mid to high teens for most but low twenties where cloudy in the southeast.
