The 2020-21 Southwest Indian Ocean cyclone season animation is here! Featuring Cyclones Chalane, Eloise, Faraji, and Guambe, the 2020-21 season impacted Mozambique and Madagascar because of Chalane's and Eloise's landfalls. This season produced 10 named storms, 6 hurricane-equivalent cyclones, and 2 major hurricane-equivalent cyclones from November to April. Faraji was the strongest storm of the season, peaking at 160 mph and a pressure of 926 millibars.
