Dry initially towards southeastern areas but bands of heavy rain in the north and west clearing northeastwards through all areas, with drier and clearer conditions developing for Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Yellow warnings for rain across Wales and western and northern parts of England. Staying mild but windy across northeast Scotland with winds also picking up around Channel coasts. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the evening of 16/10/24.
