I'm from The Canary Islands, Madeira reminds us of our islands, that's why we are comfortable exploring the island and hiking. I highly recommend tourists learn some Portuguese, at least several sentences "Pode trazer a conta? Por favor" , "May I have the bill? Please"

ironic how speaking about slow people, But when you go to a cafe in madeira or any shops in madeira the majority of workers and the slowest they can be. sometimes they even see us just standing there waiting to be served and yet they take their time to even acknowledge us & yes im from madeira.

It’s ironic how the lady from Barreirinha is annoyed by slow people because their service is also terribly slow. Still one of my favorite places in Funchal. ❤

Oh man this one was super duper helpful to me and my wife who have never been to Madeira but planning on coming next year. I've said it before and I'll say it again that after watching so many YouTube videos and blogs about Madeira from so many people you really have the very best one that really packs a ton of excellent and useful information into each video. We really loved the one about the rooftop bars there so much!
