There's a lot of arguing in my comments about whether water hydrates the skin (lol), so let me explain what I actually meant. (This is kind of long, so read if you actually want to understand what I meant.) When I say 'skin,' I’m obviously talking about the outer layer, the part we can see and touch. Who’s talking about the inner layers when they say 'skin,' like c’mon guys... Anyway, the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) is made of dead skin cells, so it doesn’t absorb water from inside the body when you drink it. Water you drink is absorbed into your bloodstream and used by your organs first. The inner layer of your skin (dermis) does hold most of your skin’s water because it contains blood vessels and collagen, which help retain moisture. But here’s the thing, the epidermis has no blood supply. It’s completely cut off from your internal hydration system. The water in the dermis stays there to support deeper skin functions, but it doesn’t travel upward to hydrate the epidermis because there’s no direct water pathway between them. What actually hydrates the outer layer of your skin is moisture from the environment or topical products like moisturizers that help trap water and prevent it from evaporating. That’s why if your skin is dry, just drinking more water won’t magically fix it. You need something external to keep that outer layer hydrated. Drinking water is still great for your overall health and helps keep your body functioning properly, but it doesn’t directly hydrate the epidermis. Hope that clears it up!💖💖

Yes, water plays a crucial role in hydrating your skin. Here's how: *How Water Hydrates Your Skin* 1. *Moisturizes skin cells*: Water helps maintain the natural moisture barrier of your skin, keeping skin cells hydrated and plump. 2. *Improves skin elasticity*: Hydrated skin is more elastic, which means it can snap back into place more easily, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 3. *Flushes toxins*: Drinking water helps flush toxins out of your body, including those that can harm your skin. 4. *Maintains skin pH*: Water helps maintain the natural pH balance of your skin, which is essential for healthy skin function. 5. *Supports skin regeneration*: Hydration is essential for skin regeneration, which is the process by which your skin repairs and replaces damaged cells. *Tips for Hydrating Your Skin* 1. *Drink plenty of water*: Aim for at least 8 cups (64 oz) of water per day. 2. *Use a humidifier*: Dry air can dry out your skin, so using a humidifier can help maintain a healthy moisture level. 3. *Apply moisturizer*: Use a moisturizer that suits your skin type to help lock in hydration. 4. *Eat hydrating foods*: Include foods with high water content, such as cucumbers, watermelon, and celery, in your diet. 5. *Avoid dehydrating habits*: Limit your intake of caffeine, sugary drinks, and processed foods, which can dehydrate your skin. Remember, hydration is essential for maintaining healthy, glowing skin. By drinking plenty of water and following these tips, you can help keep your skin hydrated and looking its best! I google it for a right answer ❤ Now don't start to argue for it

if you are black/any shade of brown or tan you DO need sunscreen. You can still get sun damage. Also, sunscreen IS STILL NEEDED ON NON SUNNY DAYS. Water hydrates your skin, drink water people! Natural ingredients can be better for some people, and not so good for others!! ACNE IS NOT CAUSED BY DIRTY SKIN! there are soooo many types of acne caused by different things! Hot water won't open your pores! popping pimples doesn't make them heal faster. it will push some bacteria and stuff farther into your skin. it can lead to scarring and dark spots. Oily skin DOES need moisturizer. just bcc your skin is oily, doesn't mean it doesn't get dry. And btw, I've seen ppl saying hot water DOES open pores, but the truth is that the hot water itself isn't opening your pores. Your pores actually dont have muscles, so they can't open! The steam from the water can help soften the dirt and stuff in your face.. PLEASEEE don't put your face in hot water!

I disagree with natural skincare and water . Water hydrates your skin sometimes when you don't drink enough water your skin can become dry and sore. Natural ingredients are probably the best for your skin it can give you vitamins to help strengthen your skin barrier

For the second one it is kinda true bc dark skin people have more melanin (like me) so they don’t need as MUCH sunscreen as lighter people but they still need sunscreen
