I find it interesting that this storm is happening across cities located in close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the further inland you go the less severe the storm is. It seems to me that if you live close by to the Atlantic Ocean you run the risk of having severe snowstorms and/or hurricanes every winter/summer.
