I'm going to have to watch more of these older videos to fill in gaps on my weather forecasting and understanding. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I very much enjoyed this episode! Just found you on my feed today and plan to work my way up your videos. I am a aspiring sailor! I live in Florida and have been Kiteboarding for a couple years. The concepts that got me into that are what is getting me into this. It is nice to find a channel with experience to be shared!
Brilllllliant – thanks for sharing 👍
So a dumb question, where does the dog relieve itself while on the boat ?
Absolutely love this video. Would really enjoy more technical videos like this to enable us prospective cruisers to learn more to make the process friendlier 👏
Great both of you. Been learning a lot. Tq guys. Love you. Take care.
Fast?? XDD Spinakker?? OMG Nice captain…
I think being a former meteorologist comes in handy for sailing…
Awesome Guys. Thanks so much
Excellent content and editing!
This is an awesome video. Love these.
Thank you for the videos I enjoy them
Your chanel is very informative
Just watched to storm video then this one. Lol its comical but I know we all screw up. Thanks for this video and actually explaining what you look at. I far better with the electrical and mechanical aspects.
My friend ,Paul, who has taken me sailing several times( the last time from Abaco to Staniel Key) is fond of saying “ think of a boat as a condo you can move if you don’t like your neighbors”.Tom, in Aspen
Love your videos gang. Quick question – what is the app you’re using when looking at the tides and cuts?
What is the chart book that you look into at the beginning of this video ? I need it ! Great videos , guys ! 👍⛵️
Don't hold back with the tech/weather stuff. It's important inside dope. More like this!
On PredictWind.com what package do you recommend? To get everything one needs? Wx routing, departure planning, etc.? Professional or regular? I’m not a live aboard cruiser but enjoy learning. My use will be for just vacation bareboating but enjoy furthering my knowledge. Never know, my progress into live aboard someday. Thank you 😊
I just keep finding more and more good information. I’ve made suggestions on things I’d like to see now to find that you’ve already covered many of the things I was looking for. I just need to look harder! Lol. Great stuff, thank you.
I really enjoy your videos and always look forward to watching more. They’re interesting, and the content is informative, positive and fun. I learn a whole lot about sailing and cruising cats from you. The quality of the video is generally good, especially given the colorful seascapes you share. But I wonder if you’ve tried using HDR on your cameras, and in particular when the camera is mounted, the two of you are speaking, and the detail of the top 1/2 of the background is blown out to accommodate the right light for both of you. HDR, while not always a desirable outcome since it can sometimes create too much contrast and boost the color unnaturally, may work well in many cases to retain the detail. Just a thought. Thanks very much for all the work you do to produce these great videos!
Wonder if you ever considered doing weather routing for cruisers with all of your meteorology background plus your sailing experience also, seems like it would be a good fit and an additional consultant type income.
Can you guys do a few more boat/yacht reviews. Cats and monos please. 40 to 60 feet 😉 Boats that are suitable for a couple to sail around the world.
Why did you choose Raymarine against B&G? Price or performance/stability? Thanks
