Boitumelo Mazibuko was stabbed by her former boyfriend.

Attacker: Siyabonga Msimanga, a 45-year-old taxi driver.

Her mother, Zikode, confirmed Boitumelo had previously ended the relationship due to concerns over his violent behaviour.

In a plea seen by the Sowetan, Msimanga said he attacked her because she “would not stop talking to another man.”
