Descrição

(6 Apr 2019) Farmers, threatened by disease and starvation, are struggling to cope with the aftermath of devastating flooding in Mozambique.
Famished villagers in Dombe, central Mozambique, have been trying to pick what little there is left to salvage in the flooded fields.
Cyclone Idai has hit rural Mozambique particularly hard.
Scores of thousands of people displaced by the cyclone across central Mozambique are now huddling in shelters, often with poor water and sanitation, and a cholera outbreak has been declared.
In the city of Beira, a street vaccination clinic has been set up in an effort to combat the deadly bacterial infection.
