Tropical Weather Bulletin- August 14, 2021

In tonight's tropical weather bulletin, we discuss the latest on the two depressions in the Atlantic as they continue to threaten portions of the Caribbean as well as Florida, with Fred struggling inland Cuba at the moment. Fred however is expected to re-emerge back into the Gulf of Mexico where it could get itself back together before it makes landfall on the Florida panhandle Monday. At the same time, Tropical Depression Seven will become a tropical storm soon, threatening the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, as well as Florida once again towards the end of the five day period. Meanwhile in the East Pacific, Linda has remarkably improved today and is now a Category 3 hurricane, with some strengthening possible still, while 16W still doesn't have a name , but is expected to pass south of Guam as a moderate tropical storm.
