Tropical Weather Bulletin #26 - Jun 23, 2013 (Pacific Activity)

http://www.force-13.com/stormtracking.html Day 23 in the Atlantic, Day 41 in the Eastern Pacific Bebinca weakened to a tropical depression yesterday and passed over the Chinese island of Hainan. The depression is now over the Gulf of Tonkin, and is expected to move over northern Vietnam before dissipating. Rains are already occurring over Vietnam, and flooding could result from this system in central and northern parts of the country, potentially extending into Laos. Invest 94E now has an 80% chance of cyclone genesis in the next two days according to the National Hurricane Center. Computer models still predict this system to become a significant storm or hurricane over the next few days but is not likely to threaten land. Invest 95E is located to the west of 94E, and has a 30% chance of development. Computer models are divided as to whether this system will form or not, though if it does it will likely be absorbed by whatever Invest 94E becomes. Invest 95W is still going near the island of Yap, and is not expected to develop.
