Tropical Storms likely to form in the Indian and Pacific Oceans - Tropical Weather Bulletin
Descrição
Typhoon Nesat rapidly weakened in the South China Sea over the course of the last 24 hours, and is likely to degenerate further as it passes south of Hainan island, China. The storm is likely to dissipate completely before it reaches the coast of Vietnam.
Tropical Storm Haitang is still active and is sweeping off towards the northeast. It is expected to turn post-tropical by tomorrow.
Another system could develop near the Philippines in the next few days, and has already been named Obet by PAGASA. The system is expected to clip the northern coast of Luzon as a weak tropical storm and venture into the South China Sea.
The main areas to watch in the next few days lie in the eastern Pacific ocean along the coast of Mexico, and also in the Bay of Bengal, and high rain totals are expected in both of these regions regardless.

Hurricane Wilma had the smallest eye of any tropical cyclone known.

I like this type of weather report. Thanks so much. You can get rid of the music. It just interferes with what you're saying.

Active Storms in WPAC: TS Nesat (Neneng), TS Haitang, TD Obet (Invest 92W) Possible Storms in WPAC: TS Nalgae (Obet). Longer Range: Tropical Depression 26W (Paeng). Silly Range: Super Typhoon Banyan (Paeng). This reminds me of Late September 2018 in WPAC vibes. Does any pinoy still remember Super Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut)? Because Obet is the replacement name for Ompong.

Obet seems to be on a track similar to Neneng earlier this October.
