Tropical storm Gombe formed, it is impacting Madagascar

This Monday at 18 hours UTC, the tropical depression active over the southwest Indian Ocean intensified into the Tropical Storm Gombe. The center of Gombe is very near to the northeast coast of Madagascar and part of its rainbands are already producing heavy rainfall on this country.
