Tropical cyclone expected to form off Queensland coast this week | 9 News Australia

One of three tropical lows off the Queensland coast has developed into a category four cyclone. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a strong wind warning for the coast along the Mackay, Townsville, and Capricornia regions despite Cyclone Freddy not expecting to make landfall. Another tropical low off Queensland’s north-east coast is expected to evolve into a category one cyclone during the day and further intensify tomorrow where it could develop into a category three.
