He claimed billions were being lost to corruption within USAID and wasted on useless and absurd programmes, including $50m on buying "condoms for Hamas" in Gaza. But he was talking about the wrong Gaza.
Mozambique's Gaza province suffers one of the highest rates of HIV in the world and depended heavily on USAID for treatment and prevention. When Musk closed the agency down, it set off a chain reaction, putting the lives of millions of people at risk. Al Jazeera travelled to Gaza province to witness the real-life consequences of Musk's ruthless cuts.

I am Mozambican and understand about 80% of English, but 90% of us doesn't! So ask Aljazira do add Portuguese Legend or Audio to the video, so we can get all the information spreeded on the video. Thank you

As a South African, the continent need to take care of it's citizens and not foreign nations. It's sad that people are living with treatable illnesses but can not get medication. Shame on the leaders of African states

As a Mozambican myself This was a big blow for our country But I also believe this was a wake-up call, We need to be more independent, we need to be smarter The funding should've stopped, but not abruptly I don't trust our government to do the right thing and invest and care for our countrymen Hopefully our brothers from Gaza can keep fighting and one day we can help them
