Texas Ranger - LIMPOPO has a NEW sheriff in town. A taxi full of FOREIGNERS missing where are they

46 people in a 22-seater minibus, five police officers from Polokwane International Airport, and a promise from Limpopo's top cop that corrupt officers will swap blue uniforms for orange ones.

Police allege that on 17 April 2025 a traffic officer stopped a minibus carrying 46 undocumented foreign nationals on the N1 near Polokwane and escorted it to the N1 weighbridge. Five officers from the airport allegedly took the group, saying it had been arranged with the station commander, but neither the officers nor the 46 people reached Polokwane SAPS. Three officers were arrested on Monday 19 October 2026 and two handed themselves over. All five appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on 20 October, charged with defeating the administration of justice and contravening section 49 of the Immigration Act, and were granted R1,000 bail each.
