Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video update. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to 17th June and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at CFS V2 for the next four weeks getting us to the start of July at the end of the video...

The models are all over the place. Earlier this week, they forecast high pressure towards mid-month, the last two days they didn't want to know about high pressure and now they're back to the high pressure idea!

The weather at 2.35pm, 07 June in County Down (N.Ireland) is absolutely GRIM , very windy and chilly, a typical Irish summer

Thanks Gav, hoping the heatwave comes off as fed up with this cool, wet, unseasonably cool filth we've had to endure the past 5 days. London felt more like Lerwick.

I do hope to god we get a very, very long hot summer, I am ok with rain, but not cool rain, no no At the moment its been between 16c an 18c all week, with lots of cloud and rain. If it was between 22c and 24c and rain, that's not so bad as its summer like conditions..
